Entry Restrictions

July 17-19, 2026 | Willow Run Airport | Ypsilanti, MI

For your convenience and to minimize imposition, it is recommended that Air Show patrons bring only necessary items on their person and limit the size and contents of carry-in items to those that are essential.

Please review the important reminders and lists below which define both permitted and restricted items.

Important Reminders

Smoking is allowed outside airport gates.

All carry-in items and persons are subject to search as a condition of entry.  No exceptions.
All unattended bags and items will be removed from the premises.
Surveillance equipment is in use to monitor facility and grounds.
No overnight RV parking is permitted.
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes – attending the show barefoot is highly discouraged.

    Air Show concession stands feature a wide variety of food and beverage options for your enjoyment and convenience.

    Permitted Items

    To help guests prepare for the Air Show, the following items are permitted within the venue, subject to any noted conditions or limitations.

    Assistive devices used for accessibility including service animals, walking canes, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids

    Cameras and video cameras

    Water bottles

    Strollers, non-motorized wagons, and baby food

    Portable chairs/lawn chairs

    Personal Umbrellas

    Restricted Items

    To help ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests, certain items are not permitted at the Air Show. Please review the list below before arriving at the venue.

    Weapons of any kind (including firearms, knives of any size or type, multi-tools with or without blades, and pepper spray, mace or similar chemical defenses

    Tents, pop-up canopies, portable awnings, ladders, and step stools

    Large umbrellas or other items that obstruct guests’ views

    Bicycles and motorized two-wheeled vehicles, including e-bikes and recreational scooters.  Except for physically challenged persons

    Skateboards, roller-blades/inline skates, or heelys

    Laser pointers, UAVs and drones

    Cooking equipment (including all types of grills, open flames, etc.)

    E-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, cigarettes, etc.

    Alcohol, or glass containers of any kind, whether full or empty, including bottles, jars, and drinkware

    Fireworks of any kind, including sparklers, firecrackers, and other novelty or pyrotechnic items

    Pets of any kind. Only trained service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted. For your pet’s safety, please do not leave animals unattended in vehicles
